Week 13 – Seeking feedback

Career Development Framework

Seeking feedback can be tricky – we don’t necessarily want to hear negative things about ourselves. But it’s an important part of learning how to better yourself as a person. It’s important to distinguish between good and bad feedback, and how we can use feedback to propel ourselves forwards.

In this unit, we’ve pulled together some resources which help young people consider why they should seek out feedback, and which kinds of feedback are most useful. We’ve provided some questions to stimulate reflection and thinking, and explained some simple concepts with the aim of expanding their thinking.
